Success for Tap Attack at the 2011 ISTD Star Tap Awards
Tap Attack Youth Company members had a successful day at the 2011 ISTD Star Tap Awards in London on Sunday 27th March.In total the company walked away with four awards including Sophie Wathen – Junior Runner Up, Luke Dowling - Premier Boys Winner and Rosie Bretherton Premier Winner.
Tap Attack founder and Creative Director Jo Scanlan also on the Gwen Carter Choreography award for the second year running for a dance she choreographed danced by Imogen Weatherhead.
It was yet another great day organised by the ISTD Tap Faculty, with the cream of young tap talent coming together from across the UK.
Tap Attack are currently holding auditions for company members for 2011/12 in Birmingham on the 10th April as well an exciting collaboration with the ISTD Rhythm Routes on the 22nd May, both are proving very popular with limited places at each so book your places now.
