Do you want to accelerate your tap skills?
Do you need a new solo?
Would prefer to learn through individual tuition rather than a class environment?
Tap Attack offers private lessons under the direct guidance of either Tap Attack Creative Director Jo Scanlan or England Head Coach and Tap Dogs Resident Director James Doubtfire.
Dancers have taken lessons with Jo and James for a variety of reasons - including solo dances set for shows and competitions, expanding tap repertoire, professional development, learning new skills.
As well as being qualified to fellowship status in both the ISTD and IDTA , Jo also has the extra edge having studied extensively in America with some of tap’s greatest stars - Dr Henry Le Tang and Dr Bunny Briggs. She has also been privileged to work with Barbara Duffy and Heather Cornell.
James trained at North Hens College Hitchin, for 2 years and after leaving, he performed extensively across the U.K, Europe and Australia in musicals including 42nd St, Me and My Girl and Hot Shoe Shuffle.
James has toured the World with "Tap Dogs" for the past 12 years performing as Dancer/Dance Captain and also acts as Resident Director for the company. Along with Jo, James is the Head coach and choreographer of the England Tap and they both choreographed the routines for Got To Dance semi finalists Tap Attack. Lessons are for all ages and take place in either Swindon (1 hour from London) or Liverpool (other locations can be arranged with prior notification). |
